Common types of teeth used in mining industry are excavator teeth for digging, heavy duty excavator teeth used on wheel loaders and excavator buckets and scraper blades fitted with standard adaptors. Currently, there are 5 suppliers for mining teeth in Europe and 1 in Africa.

Rock Cutters: Rock breaking has been an essential part ever since mining flourished. For softer materials like coal and potash, the roadheader, the longwall, and the continuous miner, all drag bit cutters are popularly used. For hard rocks that require more force, disc cutters are suitably used. Other rock cutting techniques include thermally stable diamond composite, combinations of mechanical cutters and other methods such as high-pressure water or high temperatures. Rock cutting plays an integral part in coal mining, so much so that the entire process of mining comes to a standstill if the rock cutter goes out of order. Keeping that in mind, it is important to choose a rock cutter that provides a prolonged service.
